Who We Are

Turnbull Excavating is a trusted excavation and construction company serving Southeast Saskatchewan for nearly four decades.

Founded in 1986, Turnbull began as a small local crew focused on hard work, safety, and reliability. Over the years, we have evolved into a full-service operation offering a wide range of services, including excavation, redi-mix concrete, aggregate supply, water and sewer services, demolition, and equipment rentals.

Starting with just a few pieces of equipment and a commitment to honest and dependable work, we have grown our capabilities in response to increasing project demands. We expanded into commercial excavation and municipal services and launched our own CSA-certified redi-mix concrete division.

Today, with a robust fleet, a skilled team, and extensive experience, we confidently handle projects of all sizes.

OurHistory

In 1984, Ed Turnbull founded Turnbull Town & Country with just a truck, a bobcat, and a trailer. By 1986, the company had formally become Turnbull Excavating Ltd., marking the start of a legacy built on hard work and reliability.

Tyson joined the business full-time in 2006 after graduating high school and quickly proved himself to be a strong leader. By 2012, he had moved into management, playing a key role in driving growth, innovation, and expansion.

What began as a one-man operation has now evolved into a multi-division, large-scale company with a fleet of over 100 vehicles.
